This car is Chrome 148. Full WebCodecs, MediaSource, H.264/HEVC/AV1/VP9, 75 fps of full-frame 1080p canvas, and audio autoplays unmuted with no gesture. The old-Chromium premise behind MPEG1/JSMpeg does not apply here.

The link is the constraint, not the browser — about 3–4 Mbps measured in the car. Preset G stream-copies Twitch 1080p60 flawlessly on the server at 5.9 Mbps, which is roughly twice what the car can pull. Copy a lower rendition instead.
